Wayne Kalish brings a unique blend of financial and business management and advisory knowledge to WaveCapital Partners, LLC. As Senior Managing Director for the firm, Wayne is responsible for supporting and managing client applications from financial and business modeling perspectives to optimize available financing options and desired results.
Prior to joining WaveCapital, Wayne served as the Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for Ruby Tuesday, Inc., a NYSE listed restaurant company that he and others recently took private. He also served many small, medium and large sized businesses in varying industries through his Wayne Kalish & Associates, LLC, contractor based Chief Financial Officer services practice.
Wayne was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Concord Management, Limited, a 32,000 unit apartment management company, and served as the Senior Vice President, Accounting and Finance / Group Chief Financial Officer at Tavistock Group, a globally focused private equity firm. In addition, Wayne held the position as Vice President, Accounting and Corporate Planning and Analysis at Darden Restaurants, Inc., the world’s largest publicly traded casual dining restaurant company. He began his professional career as a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG.
Wayne is a licensed CPA for the State of Florida, and a member of the AICPA and FICPA. He holds an M.B.A. with Honors from the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and an undergraduate degree in business with an accounting concentration from the University of Central Florida.
